갈아만든 마스크 시트 알로에 [THE FACE SHOP - Real Nature Mask Aloe Vera]

Sheet mask time everyone! Don't these things make you happy? I've never reviewed a sheet mask before, mainly because the ones I've used have been only singular ones (I've bought them on their own, just as one sheet, as opposed to in a box like My Beauty Diary sell) but I bought 7 of The Face Shop's Real Nature Mask in Aloe Vera so I thought I'd share my thoughts on this one.

These are so cheap. I'm just putting that out there. On THEFACESHOP website, they come up at 1,000 won per mask. I actually bought mine on eBay though from a seller called heirofkoreanculture  (god awful name I know...but hey it was cheap) and I paid £4.23 for a pack of 7 of these masks, so actually...not too bad if I say so myself! (I didn't have any shipping charge or anything either.

Moving onto the mask itself...
Aloe Vera seems to be in everything! The mask has 1,000mg of grounded aloe vera apparently...and that means that this sheet should sooth and hydrate the skin. Basically just extreme moisturising at the end of the day. Aloe is good for sensitive skin, which explains why every product I use seems to have aloe in! The plant, aloe vera, itself comes from north Africa and spread to Europe and China in the 17th Century! There's so many uses for aloe vera, one of my favourite though is sun protection~ but you can read about all of these yourself here if you like instead ㅋㅋㅋ

Why is my face too small? I have a face like SHINee's Minho, which just seems to be too small for everything in life~ from eye masks to sheet masks~ masks just seem to hate my face!
It seems like it fits the faces of Koreans though, I was checking out some other reviews of this mask~ and I found one on naver of a Korean girl who used the Aloe one as well~ and it fit her perfectly! So it's obviously just me that's the problem here!

Look how much extra sheet is left over -_- it's made my nose nearly
twice the size it actually is~ xD oh well! Extra product for me then!

The instructions are in English and Korean~ and actually~ I wanted to
complain about Engrish~ but the English is actually pretty good here!
So well done The Face Shop! I'm proud of you guys!

The mask itself has loads of product on it~ and it's a pretty thick
mask as well~ even after I left it on for about 40 minutes (it does say 15-20
but hey, who cares about time limits?) it was still pretty wet and I could
have left it on for at least another 15-20 minutes more I think...

Here's a picture of me with one of them on...as you can see...it's pretty big on my
face~ but I do have a tiny face~ so I'll wait for Kate to try one maybe and see if
it fits her face and get back to you guys on that (although her face is tiny as well...)

at around 50p (1,000 won) per sheet, £4.23 for a set of 7 on eBay, the value is pretty good in my opinion! (in fact, it was so good that I went back and bought two more different sets in the line!)

pretty boring honestly. It smells like Aloe Vera. Maybe it's because I'm used to the smell of it~ but it's not that strong~ which is good! I don't like sheet masks that smell too strong...what with it being right on your face for like 30 minutes and all!

is obviously too big! But I'd rather have it too big than too small~ and I think that's more of a problem with me than the mask!

relatively standard. I did like the giant aloe vera plant on the front - and the lemon one has a lemon on it...etc - Being from The Face Shop...it's not on the same level of packaging style as Etude House and Tony Moly~ but I'd put The Face Shop slightly better than Innisfree for their packaging style!

I personally think it does! It's obviously December right now (merry Christmas guys!) and my face was really dry before I used it~ but the moisturising part of it works really well. This mask works though because it's simple and doesn't claim to do anything miraculous~ just moisturise your skin~ and it does that~ and does it well! So well done again!

I really like this mask~ I've gone back to my seller and purchased another two sets to test out whether I just like the Aloe ones or I just like this line in general...
But this is a simple, cheap mask, which does exactly what it says on the package. There's not many things in the 21st Century that live up to the advert, but this is one of them!
Well done The Face Shop~ I'll be coming back I guess now! (And not just because Kim Hyun Joong is all over it either...)
Overall, I give this a...

It would have been a 5...but because it doesn't fit my face well, I deducted a point off~
What do you all do when you're wearing sheet masks? Leave a comment in the
cbox or @ on twitter! Here I'm watching the final episode of season 2 of Nikita!
I love Nikita ㅋㅋㅋ Mainly because it's got Maggie Q in and she's perfect ^^

Anyway! Merry Christmas everyone! I don't think another post will come up in the next couple of days (other than maybe the Big Bang one) so have a nice Christmas and you'll here from me again~ with another instalment of this little mini-series of posts on The Face Shop's Real Nature Mask line! ^^
Then you'll be finally getting a look at my 59 Seconds bag~ and my new Etude House cleanser!

Merry Christmas! ♥
